POWER RANGERS TO LAUNCH HIGH FASHION COLLECTION EXCLUSIVE TO YEAR ZERO LONDON
This winter, Saban’s Power Rangers will land in London with a new fashion range POWER RANGERS LUXE sold exclusively at the celeb haunt Soho boutique YEAR ZERO LONDON.
After the hit series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers launched in 1993, Power Rangers quickly became the most- watched children’s television program on air. Now in its 21st season, Power Rangers has become one of the longest running and most-watched boys action series in television history and a pop culture phenomenon, spanning across multiple generations.
What better time than the festive holiday season to launch a high fashion range inspired by one of the most successful superhero series in television history?
POWER RANGERS LUXE has been designed by the Mazzilli family’s Louise, Tatum and Rocky Mazzilli behind the YEAR ZERO LONDON boutique and has taken inspiration from the spirit, energy and belief of being bold, fun, dynamic and, above all, individual. The collection makes its worldwide debut in London on 19th November.

The unisex collection is cartoonish in its design and consists of t-shirts, tanks, sweatshirts and accessories. Over-sized PVC applique shirts boast the Power Rangers Megaforce emblems of Dragon, Shark, Phoenix, Tiger and Cobra in the iconic Ranger colours of black, red, blue, pink and yellow whist t-shirts and tanks in slick monochrome have simple designs with over-sized lightning bolt logos.
Though the accessories collection uses modern Power Ranger iconography such as the animal emblems and new Ranger helmets, the styling gives an obvious nod to the decade of its roots with classic 90s Hip-Hop styling – chunky chain necklaces with bright and over-sized Perspex pendants teamed with boxy caps and beanies boasting slogans like POWER in bold Perspex letters. Perspex cuffs and knuckle dusters are layered with Swarovski crystal detail for extra bling available in all five Power Ranger colours. There are even phone cases in each of the colours.
